Dr. Farah is a clear-thinking, compassionate counselor with over 25 years of experience in helping her clients reach new milestones beyond their dreams.
She draws from her background in the fields of psychology, theology, energetic healing, mental health, and leadership development to support you in achieving your goals through her proprietary ‘5 Pillar Approach to Health and Wellness’ (5 PATH).
Her unique approach combines science and spirituality and east-west philosophies that not only help you feel a higher sense of purpose and meaningfulness, but also strengthens your capacity to be resilient during life’s most difficult challenges.

Spirituality is foundational to mental health.
Dr. Farah’s methods fill the gap between mental health treatment and recovery. Spirituality supports and amplifies the benefits of mental health treatment. In fact, numerous studies have shown spirituality is FOUNDATIONAL to mental well-being. Ignoring spirituality is often why many people never feel fulfilled with mental health treatment alone.

Spirituality is about YOUR relationship with a higher power.
Spirituality is not religion, though an individual may be both spiritual and religious or spiritual and not adherent to a specific religious doctrine. Other forms of spirituality could include nature, music, art, meditation, and much more. Anyone who can accept the notion that we are connected to something greater than ourselves can benefit from spiritual care.

About Dr. Farah’s Approach
Dr. Farah’s ‘5 Pillar Approach to Health and Wellness’ (5 PATH) approach goes far beyond generic wellness approaches or dogma. She deploys every applicable tool in her spiritual wellness toolkit to help you design your own customized set of spiritual anchors to keep you grounded when life begins to spiral.
Her belief is that spiritual care is a mutually beneficial co-created healing experience between a caregiver and a care seeker which aims to connect or reconnect the care seeker to life-giving meaning and purpose, even amidst life’s greatest challenges. It is a mercy and a healing for both the care giver and care seeker and both receive great benefit.
Spiritual counseling and care can be particularly effective in recovery from shame- and guilt-based theology that is often acquired in childhood but which can also occur in adulthood.
Why should you trust me?
Enough speaking of myself in third person. I know, you really want to know, “So, who are you and why should I trust you?” There is a whole “About” page that gives you my lovely credentials and all the standard fare on me, so I’ll reserve this space to give you some insights into who I really am, including my “why”. I think many of you will be able to identify with parts of my story since we share many collective traumas as a society and since the energy of the universe brought you to my page. So here goes…
I am a recovering burned out mental health professional whose life was crumbling around me. I was depressed, anxious, tired, and suffering. Read more on my blog…
